Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017), the popularity of Swift grew, and she was able to enter the world of pop music where it was clear that she deserved to be. As she cut her style by releasing stripped-down albums like 2020, folklore, and Evermore, she still remained on top. It was a position that was confirmed with the re-recordings she had made from her earlier catalog, as well as Midnights the synth-based chart-topper 2022 album.
